This is my morning pep talk
Today is going to be a day filled with merriment and wonder as I sort through about 307 pounds of laundry. Laundry is a dirty beast and my worst enemy and one day it will release it’s grip that it has on me. Granted, I’ll probably be dead but I will win eventually.
Later on this afternoon my niece and nephew are coming over. I’m feeling a little dramatic today, so I imagine when my husband finds me this afternoon I will be in a corner weeping or I will be tied up and the children will be doing a victory dance around me. Ben wont be able to take them down because they will have gained strength from all the candy and left over birthday cake they ate once they defeated me. Then my brother-in-law will get here and wont even notice that both me and Ben have been tortured by our children and his. It’ll be like when the mom comes home in Cat and the Hat. Everything will be just like he expects it to be.
I hear ya. No matter how much laundry I do, I don’t feel like it will ever be enough to catch up. My master bathroom is the worst room in the house. (cause that’s where Daniel’s and my closet is) I always try to lock it so no one will see the damage of the tornado that came thru=)
